By registering for, accessing, subscribing to, installing or using MYZAP, you and the business you represent agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use MYZAP. These Terms are entered into with ZAPMICRO TECHNOLOGIES LLP, the operator of MYZAP (myzap.in), India.
1.Service description
MYZAP is a software platform provided by ZAPMICRO TECHNOLOGIES LLP ("ZAPMICRO", "we", "us") that offers business-management functionality for retail and similar businesses, including billing and invoicing, inventory management, expense tracking, reports and dashboards, customer records, delivery management, and related tools.
MYZAP is delivered as a hosted, subscription-based service (including a progressive web app). Features may be added, changed, improved, suspended or removed as the product evolves. Where a change materially reduces functionality that a paying subscriber relies on, we will provide reasonable notice where required by applicable law or the subscription agreement.
2.Beta and evolving software notice
MYZAP is actively developed and may contain beta, preview or experimental functionality. Such functionality may contain bugs, errors, interruptions, incomplete behaviour or unexpected results, and may be modified or withdrawn.
You should independently verify important financial, inventory, taxation and business information before relying on it. We do not represent that the software will operate uninterrupted or entirely error-free.
3.System and internet requirements
MYZAP is designed to perform best with:
- A stable internet connection with adequate speed
- Modern, supported browsers
- Updated operating systems
- Adequately performing phones, tablets or computers
- Sufficient device storage and memory
- Properly configured printers, barcode scanners and other peripherals
Performance may be affected by poor connectivity, outdated devices, browser restrictions, low memory or storage, device limitations, third-party services, or incompatible hardware or software. Where offline functionality is provided, it is a continuity aid and is not a guarantee of uninterrupted operation.
4.Service availability
We do not guarantee 100% uninterrupted availability. The service may become temporarily unavailable due to matters including:
- Server, hosting or cloud-provider outages
- Internet, DNS, domain or network failures
- Database problems, maintenance or software updates
- Security incidents
- Third-party API, payment-gateway or WhatsApp/messaging outages
- Device or browser problems
- Force-majeure events and other circumstances beyond reasonable control
ZAPMICRO will use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain, monitor and restore the service.
5.No warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MYZAP is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties other than those that cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing in these Terms removes or limits any warranty, guarantee, consumer right or data-protection right that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law.
6.User account responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your MYZAP account and any staff accounts you create. We strongly recommend that you:
- Never share passwords, OTPs or administrator credentials
- Use strong, unique passwords and change them periodically
- Change credentials immediately if you suspect compromise
- Sign out of shared or public devices after use
- Review active users and staff accounts regularly
- Remove access promptly when employees leave
- Create individual staff accounts instead of sharing one administrator login
- Protect your registered email and mobile accounts
- Keep devices protected with a PIN, password or biometrics
- Keep browsers and operating systems updated
Where appropriate — particularly on shared devices — sign out at the end of the business day. Signing out reduces risk but does not eliminate all security risk.
ZAPMICRO will never ask you to disclose your password.
8.Customer and business data
You are responsible for the accuracy, lawfulness and appropriateness of the information you enter into MYZAP, including customer names and phone numbers, product information, prices, GST information, GSTIN, HSN/SAC codes, inventory, supplier information, credit balances, expense records and delivery details.
Where you enter personal data relating to your customers, staff or suppliers, you must ensure that you have lawful authority to collect and process that data and that you provide any notices or obtain any consents required by applicable law. In relation to such data, MYZAP generally acts on your instructions as a service provider. ZAPMICRO's own processing obligations are described in the Privacy Policy.
9.Data backup and business continuity
You should maintain appropriate independent records and backups of business-critical information where reasonably necessary. Export or retain important invoices, accounting information, tax records, inventory information, customer credit information and business reports periodically.
MYZAP's backup and export features are provided to assist you and are not a substitute for your own statutory record-keeping or business-continuity obligations. We cannot guarantee that data can always be recovered after every hardware, software, connectivity, account or third-party failure.
10.Billing, GST and tax disclaimer
MYZAP provides software tools to assist with billing, GST calculations, invoices and reports. ZAPMICRO is not a Chartered Accountant, tax consultant or legal advisor, and MYZAP does not provide tax or legal advice.
You remain responsible for verifying:
- GST registration details and GSTIN
- GST rates and HSN/SAC codes
- Tax treatment and invoice information
- Filing requirements, statutory records and compliance obligations
Review software-generated calculations before relying on them for statutory filings, and obtain professional advice where required.
11.Inventory disclaimer
Inventory figures depend on the data entered, imported, scanned and synchronised by you and your staff. MYZAP cannot guarantee that displayed stock always equals physical stock. You should carry out appropriate physical stock verification at suitable intervals.
12.Financial decision disclaimer
Reports, dashboards and any AI-generated insights are informational tools intended to support your own judgement. They are not guaranteed financial, investment, accounting, tax or business advice, and should not be treated as such.
13.Third-party services
MYZAP may integrate with third-party services, including:
- Hosting and cloud providers
- Payment gateways
- WhatsApp, SMS and email providers
- Maps and analytics services
- AI services
- Printing and device integrations
Third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We cannot guarantee the availability or performance of independent third-party services.
14.WhatsApp, SMS and email delivery
Delivery of invoices, notifications or reminders via WhatsApp, SMS or email is not guaranteed. Delivery may depend on:
- Internet connectivity and third-party API availability
- Recipient device and application settings
- Correct phone numbers and email addresses
- Platform policies and message restrictions
- Service-provider availability
15.Offline mode
Where MYZAP offers offline functionality, it is intended to improve continuity during connectivity interruptions. It does not guarantee permanent offline operation, and offline data generally requires later synchronization.
Allow synchronization to complete before clearing browser or application data, uninstalling the PWA, resetting the device or deleting local storage. Clearing application data before synchronization may result in the loss of locally stored unsynchronised information.
16.Hardware responsibility
ZAPMICRO does not manufacture your computers, phones, tablets, printers, barcode scanners, routers or network equipment. Compatibility may vary between devices, drivers and operating systems.
Unless hardware is separately sold or supported by ZAPMICRO under written terms, hardware failures fall outside the MYZAP software subscription.
17.Prohibited use
You must not misuse MYZAP. Prohibited activity is described in the Acceptable Use Policy, and includes attempting unauthorized access, attacking the platform, introducing malware, circumventing security controls, unlawful scraping, prohibited reverse engineering, API abuse, using another user's credentials, uploading unlawful content, fraud, knowingly generating fraudulent invoices, violating applicable laws, and interfering with other users or our infrastructure.
Accounts may be restricted or suspended for serious violations, subject to applicable law and the subscription agreement.
18.Subscriptions and plans
MYZAP is offered under subscription plans, currently:
- Starter — for a single shop
- Pro — for growing and multi-branch businesses
- Enterprise — for chains and custom requirements
The pricing displayed at the time of purchase governs that transaction. Subscriptions are billed for the billing period selected (for example monthly or yearly) and, where automatic renewal applies, renew for a further period unless cancelled before renewal. Taxes, including GST, apply where applicable and are shown or added as required by law.
Upgrades take effect for the remainder of the current period as described at the time of the upgrade; downgrades generally take effect from the next billing period and may reduce available features or limits. You may cancel at any time; unless stated otherwise, access continues until the end of the paid period, after which the subscription expires. Feature availability depends on the plan in effect. Pricing for future billing periods may change, and we do not promise permanent pricing unless expressly agreed in writing.
Refunds and cancellations are described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
19.Non-payment and expiry
Where permitted by the subscription agreement, access to paid features may be restricted or suspended after subscription expiry or non-payment. We will provide reasonable information about renewal and, where applicable, a reasonable opportunity to access or export your business data, subject to applicable law.
20.Intellectual property
The MYZAP software, user interface, branding, source code, designs, logos, documentation and associated intellectual property belong to ZAPMICRO TECHNOLOGIES LLP and/or its licensors.
A subscription grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during the subscription term. It does not transfer ownership of the software or any intellectual property. You continue to own your business and customer content, subject to the limited rights required for MYZAP to host, process and store that content in order to provide the service.
21.Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ZAPMICRO shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity or data, arising from matters such as:
- Internet outages or server interruptions
- Third-party service failures
- Failures of your hardware, peripherals or network
- Incorrect information entered by users
- Unsynchronised offline information
- Unauthorized access resulting from compromised user credentials
- Loss caused by failure to follow documented security procedures
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ZAPMICRO's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service in any twelve-month period shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by you for MYZAP in that period.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any statutory consumer or data-protection rights that cannot be waived under applicable Indian law.
22.Indemnity
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless ZAPMICRO TECHNOLOGIES LLP, its partners, employees and agents against claims, demands, losses and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of MYZAP, your violation of third-party rights, fraudulent activity, unlawful collection or processing of personal data, or your material breach of these Terms. This indemnity does not apply to the extent a claim arises from ZAPMICRO's own breach, negligence or wilful misconduct.
23.Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect the service and the data it holds, including access controls, encryption in transit and role-based permissions. However, no internet-connected system can be represented as absolutely secure, and we do not claim that MYZAP is "100% secure". Further guidance is available in the Security & Account Responsibility section.
24.Privacy and personal data
Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms and takes into account the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the applicable Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, including their respective commencement timelines.
25.Account suspension and termination
ZAPMICRO may suspend or terminate an account or specific access where there is a serious violation of these Terms, fraud, a security threat, abuse, illegal activity, non-payment, or an attempt to compromise the platform.
Where practicable and lawful, we will give notice and, in the case of remediable breaches, a reasonable opportunity to remedy. Termination procedures remain subject to applicable law and any commitments in the subscription agreement, including reasonable arrangements for data export where applicable.
26.Changes to the service and these Terms
MYZAP may update its user interface, features, integrations, technical requirements, plans, and pricing for future billing periods.
These Terms are versioned. Material changes to contractual or privacy terms will be communicated where required by applicable law, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
27.Force majeure
Neither party is liable for failure or delay in performance caused by events reasonably beyond its control, including:
- Natural disasters, flood or fire
- War, terrorism or civil disturbance
- Government or regulatory action
- Telecom, internet or network outages
- Major cloud or infrastructure failures
- Power failures
- Cyber incidents that were not reasonably preventable
Payment obligations already accrued are not excused by this clause.
28.Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. The jurisdiction for disputes is the jurisdiction stated in the contact details below, which ZAPMICRO TECHNOLOGIES LLP will configure once confirmed by its legal counsel.
